NY Trip: Sunday

Tara had set up an appointment with a local photo studio with the intent to get everyone's picture taken together: Grandparents, Parents and Grandkids... all ten of us. Some of the group had no interest in this, so we got pics of just the four kids. They turned out great. Parker did very well, and gave easy smiles. Maia, however, was much more interested in playing with the play kitchen at the studio than getting her pics taken, but with a little bribing and tickling, we got some got some good photos. Afterward, while we waited for our photos to be uploaded, we went down to a small play place in the mall, where Aaron and Rachael were great in helping keep Maia entertained.
After getting the photos, we had lunch and then headed home. We had a quiet afternoon playing.

And Nana showed us all the clothes she'd purchased for Parker. One of which was this great hat (a 2T/3T).

Maia greatly enjoyed playing in the yard, and picking tomatoes off the topsy-turvey planters. Maia has a bit of a fascination with tomatoes. She thinks they look like fruit (which, technically, they are) and that she will like them. She will ask for them repeatedly - every time she sees them - but invariably spits them out after breaking the skin. And then the process will start again the next time she sees them.
So she would run back and forth to the plants and back, picking the tomatoes, biting them, spitting them, and running back to the plants to pick some for you!

For You!
Air-paane!!

Bubbles!
Whew. Gotta rest.

After dinner, it was time to take a bath (which she still says as shake a dath!) and cuddle a bit before bed.
And Parker just crashed.
