Meeting (and re-meeting) Family and Friends

As Parker grows from 4 weeks to 5 weeks, we start to see a lot of changes. He is starting to interact with the world a little more. Parker meets a lot of family and friends for the first time. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, more distant cousins, Great-grandmothers. He was, inevitably, passed around quite a bit. And with all that one-on-one attention (i.e., no Maia trying to get in on the action), he was happy to gurgle and coo and... SMILE! Not a fully social I know who you are and I know that you take care of me and I like that sort of smile... but a smile none-the-less, and boy are they cute smiles!  So thanks, Aunt Tara, for getting this pic...
Parker smiles!
Parker is awake and alert!

Along with the smiles, we're continuing to see more alert time, along with better gross-motor control. Head, arms, legs, trunk. Parker is even starting to grab Mommy's shirt or Daddy's arm hair. FUN!
So, here are a few people Parker got to meet for the first time.

Parker meets Great Grandma Ashley
... and gets a kiss.
Maia got to get re-acquainted with people too.
Emily, Nicholas and Maia. Nicholas was fascinated by Maia's glasses, and it was fun to see the two interacting.
And there were some pics of people with Parker I didn't get before (darn surgery).
Grandpa and Parker.

Maia wants to give Macy a kiss. (Macy, currently 8 months old, and sitting on her mother, Lynn's, lap)
