We decided to head to Home Depot this morning to shop for a new kitchen sink. Ours is needing replacement, the faucet routinely leaks, and the garbage disposal is just about dead. We decided to go to the Home Depot where our friend Rebekah works. She helped hook us up with someone who could help us figure out what we needed, and we spent several hours at the store. Parker was exhausted, but wouldn't sleep in the car seat as Maia was non-stop with the talking and hanging on his car seat.
Parker wasn't his usual smiley self, and looked exhausted. I told Rebekah that Parker was woken up by his sister. She said "Yeah! I woke him up by farting!"
The statement pretty much stopped us all in our tracks and got a good giggle. The fact that it wasn't true may have been the best part. Where does she come up with this stuff?!?!
This evening, we were posed with this question:
Mom? Where did you buy Puhkuh?
When we told her we didn't buy him, she asked: What did you build him out of? While we struggled to come up with an answer to that, she got distracted and the issue was dropped. PHEW!

Parker thought she was hysterical too (well, at least her little clapping toy), and his giggles got us laughing...
(and yes, at the end, she says "Puhkuh, you cannot play with dis!")
