Sunday morning, it was time to scramble some eggs,
and make them into a yummy frittatta.
In the afternoon, we thought maybe we'd try to go rollerskating together.
Maia was pretty excited about that.
Maia was a little more comfortable with the Fisher-Price skates that don't roll backwards, but wasn't entirely sure she wanted to skate at all for a while. Parker took a little turn on them too, but mostly got skated around the rink in his stroller. THAT made it easier on mommy, who hadn't been on skates in a long, LONG time!
Maia made some good progress, though, and built her confidence up.
Later, at home, the kids thought it would be fun to do some chair races across the deck.
And, at last, we had to say goodbye, and bring Aunt Tara to the airport. We ALL miss her VERY much!
