For a good 10 days after Halloween, Maia asked to wear her duck costume (at least a part of it) daily. Sometimes just hat... sometimes the body. She also loved the blinking safety-light necklaces I got her.
Right around this time, as well, we finally managed to wean Maia off her pacis... both at home and at school. Generally, she had only been taking them for naps and bedtime, and the rare rough day. So we enacted the Great Paci Roundup.
