She's here and we are home!

Maia Effie Ashley arrived into this world on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 7:39 a.m. after about 8 hours of labor, and only 4 1/2 hours of it in the hospital. She weighed in a 7 pounds, 10.4 ounces, and is 20 inches long. She has a small amount of sandy-reddish hair, and we think she is just beautiful (and looks a lot like daddy!)
